Outside of therapy, I love staying active. I enjoy working out, attending spin classes, and going on walks. Sports are a big part of my life. You will always find me watching hockey, football, basketball or tennis, with tennis being my favourite sport to play! I love the competitive nature of the game and enjoy playing with friends whenever I can. Spending time with my family is very important to me. Whether we are being active or watching sports, it is always the best doing it with them. I also enjoy baking and I’m passionate about getting better and learning new recipes in the future!
Personally.
I decided to pursue a career in therapy after seeing close family members struggle with mental health. Seeing the challenges they’ve faced, as well as the positive impact it has
had on their lives, it showed me how powerful the therapeutic process can be. Those experiences have helped me understand the importance of having a space to develop insight and build healthy coping strategies. Having experienced difficulties throughout my life, I learned the value of self-reflection and gaining skills on improving your quality of life. Learning more about myself not only helped me grow but also deepened my understanding for others navigating similar struggles. The career as a therapist is something I am passionate about as I know first-hand the meaningful impact therapeutic support can have on an individual. I am motivated to work alongside individuals during different stages of their life, helping them build skills and resilience to support them in creating a change.
