About Me…
Outside of therapy, I’m someone who values connection, curiosity, and the richness of everyday experiences. I love spending time outdoors, from exploring local hidden places that spark my imagination and sense of wonder, to taking on challenging hikes with my dogs. Movement, exercise, and mindfulness practices are an important part of how I stay grounded and present.
I have a deep appreciation for music, dancing like no one’s watching, and sharing big belly laughs with friends and family. I’m continually inspired by the people around me and believe there is so much to learn through relationships and the unfolding experiences of life. These values naturally shape how I show up in my work – with warmth, presence, and genuine care.
Why I Became a Therapist
My path into psychotherapy grew naturally out of my many years working in healthcare. As a massage therapist and neurofunctional acupuncturist, I spent nearly two decades supporting people through pain, illness, stress, and major life changes. What I witnessed repeatedly was how deeply emotional experiences live in the body, and how lasting healing often requires more than physical treatment alone.
I became increasingly drawn to the emotional stories behind the symptoms: the grief, anxiety, relationship struggles, and unspoken stress shaping how people coped and connected. That curiosity, combined with a strong desire to support deeper, more meaningful change, led me to pursue formal training in psychotherapy.
Today, I feel grateful to offer a space where clients can explore both emotional and physical experiences together – not just to manage challenges, but to grow, heal, and build more fulfilling relationships.
